On December 2, 2025, with the blessing of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, Mikhail Lastovsky, a representative of the Sourozh Diocese, participated in the Annual Meeting of the Christian Aid foundation, which was held online.
One of the presentations was given by the Chair of Christian Aid, Archbishop of Canterbury Sarah Mullally.
At the meeting, reports from members of the foundation's Board of Trustees were presented, the minutes of the 2024 general meeting, the annual report, and the 2024/2025 financial statements were approved, and options for conducting an audit of the foundation's financial activities were discussed. Changes to the organization's governing bodies were also presented.
Chrisitan Aid is a charitable organization founded 65 years ago, comprising representatives of more than 40 Christian denominations in the UK and Ireland, including the Sourozh Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. The foundation's main activities are supporting sustainable development of the quality of life for people and civil society, combating poverty, and providing disaster relief in South America, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
