On November 30, 2025, on the 25th Sunday after Pentecost, the feast day of St. Nikon, Abbot of Radonezh, disciple of St. Sergius, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Parish of St. Kentigern of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland.

At the entrance to the Church of the Holy Protomartyr Constantine of Scotland (Govan Old Parish Church of St. Constantine), His Grace was greeted with bread and salt and flowers by Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, and young parishioners.

His Grace was assisted at the Divine Liturgy by Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh; Priest Anatoly Vikhrov; Priest Alexander Menshikov, Dean of the Diocesan District of Scotland; Priest Nil Lyubchenko, Parish Rector; Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch; and Deacon Sergiy Sokolovsky.

The parish choir, directed by Daria Shumitskaya, performed the liturgical hymns. At the Little Entrance, in recognition of his zealous pastoral labors, Bishop Matthew awarded the parish Rector, Priest Nil Lyubchenko, the right to wear the kamilavka.

After the litany of fervent supplication, Bishop Matthew offered a prayer for the granting of peace.

Following the dismissal of the Liturgy, the parish rector addressed His Grace with a welcoming address. Father Nil warmly congratulated the Archpastor on his name day the day before, thanked Bishop Matthew for his long-awaited visit, and, on behalf of the parishioners, presented him with a commemorative gift and a bouquet of flowers.

In turn, Bishop Matthew thanked Father Nil for his congratulations and warm welcome and addressed the clergy and parishioners with a sermon.

In recognition of their diligent work for the good of the Holy Church, the following were awarded Episcopal Certificates of Blessing: Parish Warden Sergei Vakaryuk, Treasurer Tatyana Khain, Altar Server Vladislav Shumitsky, Director of the Church Parish School Marina Shumitskaya, and choirmaster Daria Shumitskaya.

In memory of his visit, the hierarch presented the church with a liturgical Gospel, published in English by the Moscow Patriarchate Publishing House with the participation of the Diocese of Sourozh.

All participants in the Liturgy were given icons of the recently glorified Saint Olga of Kwethluk (Alaska), whose glorification celebrations Bishop Matthew hosted from June 18 to 22, 2025, in Anchorage, Alaska, USA.

Bishop Matthew visited the church's antiquities museum, where he venerated the authentic tomb of the Holy Protomartyr Constantine of Scotland, former King of Cornwall (+576).

A communal meal concluded the service.
