On November 4, 2025, the feast day of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God (commemorating the deliverance of Moscow and Russia from the Poles in 1612), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Dormition Cathedral in London.

His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky; Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England; Archpriest Dmitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh; and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.

The liturgical hymns were performed by the Dormition Cathedral Choir under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.

Following the prayer after the communion, the Archpastor and concelebrating clergy performed a prayerful magnification before the cathedral's especially revered ancient icon of the Kazan Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos.

At the conclusion of the service, Bishop Matthew addressed the clergy and parishioners with words of sermon and spiritual edification. Simultaneous translation into English was provided by Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
