On August 21, 2022, on the 10th Sunday after Pentecost, the afterfeast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, Temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoye, Moscow.

His Eminence was assisted by Archpriest Damian Kruglik and the clergy of the church.

After the dismissal of the Liturgy, the Right Reverend Archpastor addressed the clergy and parishioners with words of sermon and spiritual edification.

The parish of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Oxford, Diocese of Sourozh, provided temporary accommodation for two families of refugees from Ukraine. The church house in the village of Kidlington, located 5 miles north of Oxford, could accommodate 6 people - two women and four children.
