On September 13, 2026, the 15th Sunday after Pentecost, and the feast of the transfer of the relics of the Right-Believing Prince Peter and Princess Fevronia of Murom, Wonderworkers (1992), and of St. Gennadius, Patriarch of Constantinople (471) - His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
Concelebrating with His Grace were Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the South-East England Deanery; Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh; Archpriest Nikita Kozlov; Priest Vasily Gandzyuk; Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch; Protodeacon Ioann Sylnik; and Deacon Nikolai Makarov.
The liturgical hymns were sung by the Dormition Cathedral choir under the direction of Anna Kobrina.
Before the start of the Liturgy, a reliquary containing great Christian holy objects - a fragment of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, a portion of the Belt of the Most Holy Theotokos, and particles of the holy relics of select saints of God - was brought out from the altar to the center of the church.
During the Augmented Litany, special petitions were offered for the well-being of married couples in honour of the feast of the Right-Believing Prince Peter and Princess Fevronia.
Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko read the prayer to Saints Peter and Fevronia of Murom.
After the Communion Hymn, the clergy and altar servers congratulated His Grace Bishop Matfey in the cathedral sanctuary on the feast day of his heavenly patron - Saint Gennadius, Patriarch of Constantinople.
Following the Prayer Before the Ambo, the hierarch and the concelebrating clergy performed a service of glorification before the icon of the Right-Believing Princes Peter and Fevronia, which contains particles of their holy relics.
Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko delivered the sermon at the conclusion of the divine service.
