On the evening of September 10, 2026, on the eve of the feast of the Beheading of St John the Baptist, the Right Reverend Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the all-night vigil at Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England; Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh; Archpriest Nikita Kozlov; Priest Alexander Kapustin; Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch; and Protodeacon Ioann Sylnik.
The Cathedral Choir, under the direction of Anna Kobrina, performed the liturgical hymns.
At Vespers, a litany was celebrated with the blessing of five loaves of bread, wine, and oil.
At Matins, after the Gospel reading, Bishop Matthew anointed the clergy and worshippers with blessed oil.
