On August 19, 2026, on the Feast of the Transfiguration of our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Archpriest Nikita Kozlov, Priest Vasily Gandzyuk, Priest Alexander Kapustin, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch, Protodeacon Ioann Sylnik, and Deacon Viktor Nikiforov.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the Dormition Cathedral Choir under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
After the litany of fervent supplication, Bishop Matthew offered a prayer for the granting of peace.
Following the prayer behind the ambo, the Archpastor and concelebrating clergy performed a prayerful hymn of praise for the feast.
Following the divine service, Bishop Matthew addressed the parishioners with words of sermon and spiritual edification. Simultaneous translation into English was provided by Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
