On May 31, 2026, the feast of the Holy Trinity (Pentecost), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy and Great Vespers with the reading of the kneeling prayers at Dormition Cathedral in London.

His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh Archpriest Dmitry Nedostupenko, Archpriest Nikita Kozlov, Priest Nikolai Yevseyev, Priest Vasily Gandzyuk, Priest Alexander Kapustin, Priest Sergiy Sokolovsky, Priest Nektary Baska, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch, Deacon Viktor Nikiforov, and Deacon Nikolai Makarov.

The liturgical hymns were performed by the Dormition Cathedral Choir under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.

During the divine service, His Grace, in recognition of their diligent church service, awarded altar servers Stepan Maximov and Andrei Yukhanayev the right to wear orarions.

Following the Liturgy, Bishop Matthew celebrated the Great Vespers of Pentecost, reading special kneeling prayers in Church Slavonic and English.

Following the service, the Archpastor addressed the clergy and parishioners with a sermon and congratulated everyone on the feast of the Holy Trinity. After that, Vladyka consecrated the newly painted church icon of St. John of Kronstadt.

On behalf of the clergy, staff, volunteers, and parishioners of the Dormition Cathedral, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, the Deputy Dean, warmly congratulated His Grace on the recent 55th anniversary of his birth. Father Dimitry read out the greetings of His Holiness Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus', and presented His Grace with a commemorative panagia, cross, and bouquet of flowers.
