On May 14, 2026, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, Acting Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the United States and Canada, arrived in New York City as part of his Easter visit to North America.
At St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral in New York City, Bishop Matthew was warmly welcomed by the clergy and staff of the cathedral.
After prayers at the cathedral's relics, Bishop Matthew discussed the schedule of upcoming services with the clergy and reviewed current parish and diocesan affairs.Vladyka is accompanied on his trip by his personal secretary, N.V. Trubnikov.
