On May 10, 2026, the Fifth Sunday after Easter, of the Samaritan Woman, after the Divine Liturgy, a children's Easter celebration was held at the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Mother of God in Manchester.
Parishioners and guests enjoyed the play "How Ivanushka Found the Easter Miracle" (based on the Russian folk tale "Go There, I Don't Know Where"), prepared by students and teachers from the "Pokrov" Sunday Parish School.
Following the performance, the children participated in an Easter quiz dedicated to the feast of the Resurrection of Christ.
At the end of the event churchwarden Priest Anatoly Vikhrov, presented Easter gifts to the young participants.
A festive meal was offered to all those present.
