On April 17, 2026, Friday of Bright Week, the feast of the Icon of the Mother of God "Life-Giving Spring," His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Bishop's Metochion of the Holy Grand Duchess Martyr Elizabeth in Roks Farm, near Bodiam.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh; Priest Sergiy Fedorenko, a cleric of the Metochion; and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch, a cleric of the Dormition Cathedral in London.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the Metochion Choir under the direction of Marina Bezmenova-Nikolau.
Following the dismissal of the Liturgy, Bishop Matthew performed the Small Blessing of Water.
The service concluded with a procession through the metochion grounds. His Grace then addressed the clergy, pilgrims, and parishioners of the metochion with words of sermon and spiritual edification.
In memory of his visit, Bishop Matthew donated an icon of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God to the metochion's house church.
All present were offered a festive meal.
