« The annual pilgrimage to the venerated icon of the Mother of God "Three-Handed" took place at the Serbian Church of St. Lazarus in Birmingham »

On February 21, 2026, with the blessing of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, the annual diocesan pilgrimage to the venerated copy of the miraculous icon of the Mother of God "Three-Handed" took place at the Serbian Church of St. Prince Lazarus in Birmingham.

Over two hundred parishioners from various parishes of the Diocese of Sourozh participated in the pilgrimage. The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Archpriest Mikhail Gogolev, the honorary dean and rector of All British Saints Parish in Birmingham, Diocese of Sourozh, assisted by Archpriest Nenad Popovic, rector of the Church of St. Prince Lazar (Serbian Orthodox Church), and clergy of the Diocese of Sourozh: Archpriest Gregory Butler, Priest Anatoly Vikhrov, Protodeacon Philip Turner, and Deacon Sergei Sokolovsky.

Following the dismissal of the Liturgy, a moleben and akathist were served in front of the venerated copy of the "Three-Handed" icon of the Most Holy Theotokos, brought to the Serbian church from Mount Athos in 2019.

Following the divine service, the clergy and pilgrims shared a communal meal.
