On October 14, 2026, the Feast of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos and the Virgin Mary, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky; Archpriest Vitaly Polischuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England; Archpriest Georgy Kuzemko; Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch; Protodeacon Ioann Sylnik and Deacon Victor Nikiforov.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the Dormition Cathedral Choir under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
Following the prayer after the communion, the Archpastor and concelebrating clergy performed the glorification of the feast of the Protective Veil of the Most Holy Theotokos.
At the conclusion of the service, Bishop Matthew addressed the parishioners with words of sermon and spiritual edification. Simultaneous translation into English was provided by Archdeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
