On January 7, 2026, on the Feast of the Nativity of Our Lord God and Saviour Jesus Christ, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh prayed at the late Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
The divine service was celebrated by Archpriest Vitaly Polischuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England, assisted by Protodeacon Ioann Sylnik.
The Cathedral Choir, under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov, performed the liturgical hymns.
Following the communion verse, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh and Subdeacon Denis Nedostupenko read the Christmas message of Metropolitan Mark of Ryazan and Mikhailovsk, Interim Administrator of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Western Europe, in Russian and English.
Following the Liturgy, a glorification of the feast of the Nativity of Christ was performed, after which His Grace the Archpastor addressed the clergy and parishioners with a sermon and festal greetings.
