On January 11, 2026, after the Divine Liturgy at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Dublin, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh visited the parish school's Christmas tree festival.
Before the festive performance, Bishop Matthew and the parish Rector, Archpriest Mikhail Nasonov, addressed Christmas greetings to the teachers, Sunday school students, and guests.
The participants were treated to the fairytale performance "I Will Not Ask Forgiveness," based on the fairy tale of the same name by Sofia Prokofieva, with a screenplay by Yulia Sokolova. Artem Bumbu made his debut in the leading role, with Svetlana Basova, the head of the school's theater studio, creating the character.
The performance included Christmas carols, and young artists performed traditional Irish dances. The spoon-playing group, led by Svetlana Krivelo, delighted the audience with their vibrant new performance. School graduates came to support the school, leading the youngest students on stage during the performance to dance to the song "Ice Cream."
The celebration concluded with the traditional Christmas carol "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen," sung in Russian, Moldovan, and English.
All props, decorations, and festive decor were prepared and created by the art teachers and students. Finally, all young participants were given sweet Christmas gifts.
