On September 5, 2025, on the 47th anniversary of the repose of Metropolitan Nikodim (Rotov), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporarily administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, celebrated a panikhida for the ever-memorable hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church at the Dormition Cathedral in London.

His Grace was assisted by the Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko.

Parishioners and staff of the cathedral prayed at the memorial service.

At the end of the panikhida, Bishop Matthew addressed those present with a word about Metropolitan Nikodim.
