Metropolitan Mark of Ryazan and Mikhailovsk and Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Liturgy at the Church of the Three Hierarchs in Paris »

On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, the feast day of St. John Chrysostom, one of the patron saints of the Three Hierarchs Parish in Paris, a festal Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the historic cathedral of the Korsun Diocese. The service was led by Metropolitan Mark of Ryazan and Mikhailovsk, Administrator of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Western Europe and the Korsun Diocese, who was assisted by Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, Temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the United States and Canada.

The Archpastors were assisted by Archpriest Nikolai Rebinder, Rector of the church; Priest Maxim Politov, Secretary of the Korsun diocesan administration; Priest Svyatoslav Bulakh, cleric of the Budapest and Hungarian Diocese; and clergy from the Paris churches of the Korsun Diocese.

The service was celebrated in Church Slavonic and French.

At the Little Entrance, for his zealous service to the Church of Christ, Hieromonk Silouan (Yaroslavtsev), the newly appointed Rector of the parish of Saints Sergius, Seraphim, and Vincent in Milan, was awarded the right to wear a gold pectoral cross.

During the Liturgy, Metropolitan Mark ordained Gennady Rumyantsev, a reader at the Dormition Cathedral in Budapest and a graduate of the Paris Theological Seminary, to the diaconate. The newly ordained deacon will serve at Trinity Church in Budapest.

At the conclusion of the service, the Archpastors and clergy proceeded to the center of the church and performed the rite of glorification before the icon of St. John Chrysostom.
