The play is based based on the memoirs of Eva Schloss, the half-sister of Anne FrankThe audience included representatives from the British authorities and civil society, the Russian-speaking community, clergy of different faiths and journalists, as well as several former prisoners of Nazi concentration camps. After the performance, during which the acting was combined with documentary footage, Eva Schloss responded to numerous questions from the audience, stressing the need to preserve the memory of the tragic events of the Second World War and thanking the soldiers of the Red Army, who had saved her and others from destruction by the Nazis. With the blessing of Archbishop Elisey, the performance was attended by the sacristan of the Cathedral of the Dormiton of the Mother of God in London, Archpriest Mikhail Dudko.

Greeting the audience the Russian Ambassador in London, Alexander Yakovenko, said that "The Holocaust was one of the greatest tragedies of the twentieth century, a drama, which we must never forget. In our country, where millions of people became its victims, and whose army liberated Auschwitz, the bitter memory of the Holocaust is still carefully preserved".
