On 26th November, the Feast of St John Chrysostom, Archbishop of Constantinople, his Grace Elisey, Bishop of Sourozh, celebrated the third anniversary of his Episcopal consecration. On this day, three years ago, Vladyka Elisey was consecrated as Bishop of Bogorodsk, Vicar of the Diocese of Korsun by His Holiness Alexy II, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.

From 21st to 24th of November, the Head of the Diocese of Sourozh, was visiting the Holy Land with pilgrimage. During the visit Vladyka Elisey celebrated the services together with priest Joseph Skinner, a cleric of the Diocese of Sourozh, and pilgrims from the Great Britain, who had arrived to the Holy Land a few days earlier.

Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, the First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, visited the Cathedral of the Dormition of the Mother of God and All Saints in London on the 14th of November.
Metropolitan Hilarion celebrated the Vigil service, at which he was assisted by Archbishop Mark of Berlin, Germany and Great Britain, Bishop Elisey of Sourozh, Archbishop Anatoly of Kerch and the clergy of the Cathedral.

On the 14th of November the 3rd Forum of Russian-speaking compatriots of Great Britain was held in Overseas House. With the blessing of Bishop Elisey of Sourozh, Archpriest Michael Dudko, sacristan of the Dormition Cathedral in London, participated in the meeting.

On the 8th of November Bishop Elisey made an archpastoral visit to the parish of St. Cuthbert in Truro. His Grace celebrated the Divine Liturgy in a small church rented by the local community. St. Cuthbert’s is the most remote parish of the Diocese of Sourozh in South-West England.
During the Service His Grace was assisted by the Rector of the parish, Archpriest Fr Benedict Ramsden, Protodeacon Dmitry Nedostupenko of the Diocesan Cathedral in London and Deacon Peter Willis.

With the blessing of Bishop Elisey of Sourozh , Fr Maxim Mitrofanov, priest of the London Dormition Cathedral made a pastoral visit to Kingston-upon-Hull, West Yorkshire.
The Russian Orthodox community in Hull numbers several hundred people from Russia and East-European countries, as well as English people who have become Orthodox.

On Sunday, the 1st of November, Archbishop Hilarion of Volokolamsk, the Chairman of the Department of External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, who came to London to participate in a conference, visited the Cathedral of the Diocese of Sourozh.

Bishop Elisey of Sourozh visited the Eucharistic Community of St. Luke in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, on the 31st of October, the patronal feast day of the community.
During the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, His Grace was assisted by the parish priest Father David Smith and Protodeacon Dmitry Nedostupenko of the Diocesan Cathedral in London.

A new school year of the parochial children’s school of the London Cathedral of the Dormition of Mother of God and All Saints began on the 12th of September, which is the remembrance day of the Right-believing Prince, Saint Alexander Nevsky.

On the 5th and 6th of September, His Grace Elisey, Bishop of Sourozh, has visited Ireland. Vladyka arrived to the stavropegical parish of St. Peter and St. Paul in Dublin with a reliquary with parts of the relics of the Righteous Martyrs Grand Duchess Elizabeht and nun Barbara.

One Sunday the 29th of August his grace Elisey, Bishop of Sourozh, arrived to St. Elizabeth community with a reliquary containing parts of the holy relics of Grand Duchess Elizabeth and nun Barbara, the Patron Saint of the community. Vladyka Elisey celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the community’s house of prayer. Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky from the London Cathedral and priest David Smith, Rector of a nearby parish in Tunbridge Wells, con-celebrated the Liturgy.

On the 19th of August, the feast of Transfiguration of Jesus Christ, a new priest - Nikolay Evseev - was ordained in the London Cathedral of the Dormition of the Mother of God and All Saints. The consecration of deacon Nikolay was conducted by His Grace Bishop Elisey of Sourozh who led the festive Divine Liturgy in concelebration with the clergy of the Cathedral. Father Nikolay will be serving in Ireland.

On Saturday the 15th of August Bishop Elisey of Sourozh arrived to the parish of St. Ephraim the Syrian in Cambridge with parts of the Holy Relics of the Righteous Martyrs Grand Duchess Elizabeth and Nun Barbara. A Divine Liturgy was celebrated.
31-07-2009 From 17th to 31st of July, a chest with parts of the relics of Holy Martyrs Grand Duchess Elizabeth and nun Barbara was present in the Cathedral. The relics were brought to the Cathedral from the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad in Chiswick on the 17th of July, which is the day of remembrance of the Royal martyrs.

On the 17th of July, the day of remembrance of the Holy Royal martyrs, Bishop Elisey of Sourozh, together with Archbishop Mark of Berlin, Germany and the Great Britain, have celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad Cathedral of Dormition in Chiswick. The Liturgy was celebrated in the lower Church, consecrated in honour of the Holy Royal martyrs.

On the 27th of June, the day of remembrance of the Holy Prophet Elijah, parts of Holy Relics of the Righteous Martyrs Grand Duchess Elizabeth and Nun Barbara were brought to the Diocesan Cathedral. At 10 o’clock in the morning the relics were met by the clergy of the Diocese of Sourozh and the Diocese of Germany and Great Britain (Russian Orthodox Church Abroad) followed by the Divine Liturgy celebrated by Most Reverend Mark, Archbishop of Germany and Great Britain, Reverend Elisey, Bishop of Sourozh and Most Reverend Anatoly, Archbishop of Kerch, concelebrated by the clergy of both Dioceses.

On the 4th of July Bishop Elisey visited the St. John of Shanghai and San-Francisco orthodox community (Russian Orthodox Church Abroad) in Colchester.
Colchester’s Orthodox beleivers, who on that day celebrated their patron Saint’s day, had an honour to host in their church parts of the Holy Relics of the Righteous Martyrs Grand Duchess Elizabeth and Nun Barbara, which were brought with the blessing of Archbishop Mark (Ardnt) of Berlin and Germany.
