Archbishop Anatoly of Kerch congratulated Bishop Elisey of Bogorodsk on the occasion of the latter’s name-day

27th June marked feast of Prophet Elisha which was solemnly kept at the London Cathedral. After celebrating the Divine Liturgy in memory of his heavenly patron, Bishop Elisey of Bogorodsk was greeted by Archbishop Anatoly of Kerch who had been praying at the service. In response, Vladyka Elisey thanked Vladyka Anatoly, and asked everyone to redouble their prayers for him, recalling the entreaties of Prophet Elisha to Prophet Elijah to receive the double portion of that Spirit which rested on Elijah.

Refreshments were offered to everyone present after the service. During the meal, Bishop Elisey shared his impressions of the recent pilgrimage of some Sourozh faithful to the Holy Land.
