From Diocese of Sourozh

As a blessing from Vladyka, everyone present received a cross and an icon image of the Sepulchre of the Lord.

On 22 June, Bishop Elisey of Bogorodsk paid an arhpastoral visit to the parish of the Holy Trinity in Bristol. He was accompanied by deacon Dimitri Nedostupenko, a cleric of the Diocese of Sourozh. On the same day, having celebrated a service of vespers, Vladyka met with the active members of the Bristol parish.

On 23 June, Bishop Elisey celebrated the Divine Liturgy in The Old Burial Chapel within the grounds of Canford Cemetery. At the end of the Liturgy, Vladyka addressed the assembled faithful, wishing them a strengthening of faith and God’s help in uniting the Orthodox faithful in the parish. As a blessing, everyone present received a cross and an icon image of the Sepulchre of the Lord, both of which Vladyka had brought from his pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Over tea which the community had organised afterwards, Bishop Elisey discussed important aspects of the parish life.
